The PRocess

  • Once I receive your inquiry through the contact form, I’ll reach out to schedule a quick Discovery Call—if the project looks like a good fit. This first step sets the tone for everything that follows.

We’ll hop on a call to chat about your goals, your audience, and what you’re hoping to get out of this project—whether it’s a new logo, brand identity, merch design, or something more custom. Think of it as a creative download: I’ll ask questions, take notes, and start to build a clear picture of your vision and what success looks like for you.

After the call, I’ll send over a detailed project proposal outlining the scope of work, deliverables, and timeline we discussed. Once that’s approved, I’ll follow up with a contract and deposit invoice. Once everything’s signed and settled, we’re ready to roll.

  • From there, I’ll do some digging into design styles, industry trends, and references that align with your goals. Depending on the project I might put together a visual moodboards that represent possible creative directions—covering typography, color palette, layout style, and overall vibe. This helps us lock in the feel of your brand before any design work begins.

You’ll review the options, give feedback, and choose the direction that feels right. Once we’re aligned, I’ll dive into the design phase with a clear, focused visual foundation.

  • Item descriptionThis is where the ideas start taking shape.

I kick things off by diving deep into the creative brief and everything we established in the earlier stages. I sketch, brainstorm, and explore different directions based on your goals, audience, and the visual tone we locked in.

The sketching phase is where I do most of the heavy lifting—getting the obvious ideas out of the way so I can dig into the more interesting, unexpected concepts. It’s where the good stuff starts to surface.

Once the groundwork is there, I begin experimenting with typography, color, layout, and visual structure—developing concepts that feel intentional and built to last. Throughout this phase, I’m not just thinking about how it looks, but how it works—in print, on screen, on a t-shirt, or wherever your brand shows up.

  • Description text goes hereOnce the design work is ready, we’ll schedule a call where I’ll walk you through the concept. You’ll get a full visual presentation that shows how the design evolved, why certain choices were made, and how everything connects back to your goals and brand direction.

This isn’t just a “here it is” moment—it’s a conversation. We’ll go over the concept together, talk through any thoughts or reactions you have, and make sure it’s landing the way it should.

I include two rounds of revisions in all my packages, so we’ve got room to fine-tune things. If the direction needs to shift or evolve, we’ll tackle that too. The goal here is to make sure you’re not just happy with the result—you’re excited to launch it into the world.

  • Item descriptionAfter we’ve gone through the presentation and you’ve shared your feedback, I’ll take care of the final refinements—tweaking, polishing, and dialing everything in until it feels just right.

Once you’ve signed off on the design and the final invoice is settled, I’ll put together a complete brand guidelines document and package up all of your final assets. You’ll get everything you need, in every format you’ll need—for both web and print—neatly organized and ready to go.

Before we wrap, I’ll ask for any final thoughts on the project and your experience working together. I’m always looking to improve, and your feedback means a lot.

At this point? You’re ready to roll. Whether it's launching a new brand, revamping your identity, or dropping some killer merch—you're walking away with visuals you can be proud of.
